Special thanks to theferret for being a friend and giving much needed criticism and to dallasnagata in both of her accounts for being an outstanding artistic role model.
Recent college searches brought up new programs, new technologies and new ideas that I want to play with. Of these, the programs Maya, StudioMax 3D, and all the other programs that work together to get a digitally created object into real camera footage. I am totally into this new idea and with my shallow background of photoshop and final cut 5 coupled with my video filming and editing skills, I really think I can pull it off. Might take a year or two to learn everything, but this is something that will not only be enjoyable, but more rewarding that just photography.
Truth be told, great photographers are our there, but the artform is a dime a dozen now a days. Even with the huge number of photographers, noobs with digital cameras can get just as good shots by spamming and hoping one turns out. I still do photography as a hobby, kinda, but it's not my main thing anymore. Maybe when I'm retired and all the young'uns have outdone all my epic animated movies I'll take it up again hardcore.
Check out my other account for 3d art and computer graphics.
